What are Run Flat Tyres?
Run flat tyres have a reinforced sidewall. This provides structure to the tyres, preventing them from collapsing if they become punctured. The thicker sidewalls help maintain the shape and strength of the tyre, even if there’s a total loss of air pressure.
That being said, you should only drive on run-flat tyres for less than 50 miles and under 50 mph (remember: 50-50). They’re also fitted alongside a TPMS system to detect a drop in pressure if it occurs.

Why Choose Run Flat Tyres?
Reduce the risk of blowouts, flat tyres, and dangerous punctures with run-flat tyres. Unlike conventional tyres, they’ll keep you safe no matter the hazard.
However, run-flat tyres cannot be repaired if a puncture occurs – even in the central tread. That’s because the reinforced structure prevents us from determining if the tyre is compromised or not.
