I’m driving on a space-saver spare. How urgently do I need it replaced?

Fairly urgently. A space-saver spare is only meant to get you to a garage, not to keep driving on.

  • Most are limited to around 50mph, so check the sticker on the wheel
  • They offer less grip and braking than a full tyre, especially in the wet
  • They are not designed for long distances or motorway use

Get to the Woodbridge branch as soon as you can and we will repair or replace the original tyre and get the proper wheel back on. If the puncture is repairable rather than a write-off, we will repair it at a fraction of the cost of a new tyre. Call 01473 612 067.
